Yesterday, Microsoft presented its Xbox Games Showcase, and with it came a lot of excitement. While showing off some great games, such as Ninja Gaiden 4 and Grounded 2, they also revealed a new handheld dubbed the Xbox ROG Ally. However, fans of Gears of War were eagerly awaiting more news on the beloved series.
A trailer was shown for the upcoming Gears of War: Reloaded, with a release date of August 26, 2025, and details that include the following
- Multiplatform (Xbox, PC, Steam, PS5)
- Cross-play
- Cross progression
- 4K Textures
- 60 FPS Campaign
- 120 FPS Multiplayer
- HDR
- Splitscreen Co-op
On all Gears of War socials, it was revealed that pre-orders of Reloaded would have access to the back-to-back beta weekends starting this Friday. Existing members of Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and owners of Gears of War: Ultimate Edition (digital) will receive automatic access to the beta.
While, unfortunately, no trailer or gameplay from Gears of War E-Day was shown, CEO of Microsoft Gaming, Phil Spencer, revealed that several new games, including E-Day, will be released in 2026 in time for Xbox's 25th anniversary.

Jake comes from the beautiful city of St. Augustine, Florida. Some of his favorite games of all time include Gears Of War, Uncharted and Banjo-Kazooie. When he’s not with his family and rewatching “How I Met Your Mother” or “Psych” for the thousandth time, you can find him saving the world or discovering lost cities while cosplaying as Spider-Man or Nathan Drake.
From fans' dream casting to reality... It. Has. Been. Confirmed! Katherine Hahn will be portraying the wickedly fantastic Mother Gothel in the Tangled Live Action. While I'm not a fan of constant live-action remakes... I love Tangled, and I love Katherine Hahn. Sooo, it's a win-win for me. #MotherKnowsBest #KatherineHahn #MotherGothel #Tangled
That's right, Childish Gambino is going to be in the new Mario move: The Super Mario Galaxy Movie! As a huge Community fan, I love this. It's such an insane casting!
Not gonna lie, I was not buzzed about Lanterns one bit, but this trailer has turned me around a lot. It seems grittier than I was expecting, and Kyle Chandler and Aaron Pierre look dope.

But the newly released M version tones down the gore and sex for a more tailored story adventure so that you can enjoy the disturbing nature of this world with a more subtle experience. Let’s dive in.
