Vroom Vroom: F1 Arcade Opened an Arcade in Las Vegas

hello world!

F1 is off to the races in Las Vegas. 2025 marks the third year in a row that an F1 grand prix is being hosted in Sin City, and to celebrate they've opened an arcade to deliver an authentic F1 experience. The F1 Arcade is a high-octane super-powered play house lined with F1 racing simulators throughout. We got an early look at the Las Vegas F1 Arcade, which opens on Friday, October 17, 2025.

What do you do at the F1 Arcade?

When you're here, you're in the pole position, baby. The F1 Arcade in Las Vegas is a multi-story venue with 87 racing simulators. Racing simulators are lined up and linked so you can race your friends in real time. There are some F1 icons simulated in your races as well, so you have the chance to beat your besties and Lewis Hamilton all in one lap.

And I gotta say, winning feels good.

The racing simulators themselves have haptics that shake when you (me, it's me) drive offroad and onto the grass. Speakers in the headboard will announce the race as you get ready to rumble and you hit real gas pedals to drive. It's so much more than the racing simulators at your local arcade.

What feels particularly impressive is how the cars handle. Turning is genuinely difficult at speed versus when you're barely tapping the gas. The brakes are crazy sensitive so you have to be extremely precise to successfully hit turns without spinning out. I did manage to flip the car on a particularly professional turn and my camera spun to show just how badly I f*cked up. Thankfully, while the haptics are immersive it isn't scary to crash (just embarrassing). The chair will rattle until you get back on the smooth road as a reminder of your previous automotive misdeeds.

What else can you do at F1 Arcade?

The racing simulators are certainly the star of the show, but there's more to indulge in at the F1 Arcade. The arcade offers a full bar, food menu, and offers a live DJ on most days. Children are allowed until 7PM, but after 7PM the arcade is strictly 21+.

The Las Vegas location has a gorgeous terrace that looks out over Caesar's Palace and the Las Vegas Strip; the perfect place to enjoy a cocktail or a mocktail (cleverly called out as 'drinks for designated drivers').

I attended after 7PM for a media night, and the party was thriving. The DJ selections were fantastic (better than some actual raves I've been to recently). A live trumpet player accompanied the DJ at one point, bringing the vibes to another level.
The food is fantastic with wagyu sliders and pizza galore. The onsite kitchen was pumping out bar bites like chicken skewers and more elevated appetizers like tuna tartare. The team has clearly thought through making F1 Arcade a fulfilling evening for dates, groups, F1 watch parties, or general partying.

As a racing novice, I had a fantastic time at the F1 Arcade. The racing simulators were engaging and gave me an insanely false sense of confidence behind the wheel (don't worry, I'm not spinning out in my Honda Fit). Racing live with my friends and against actual F1 drivers (virtually) created a fantastic blend of community and competition. The food was better than it had any right being, and my favorite mocktail was the 'circuit bloom', a fruity melon spritz with a splash of elderflower.

The F1 Arcade is located at the Forum Shops at Caesar's Palace, across the hall from Electric Playhouse, another experience we've enjoyed. F1 Arcade also has locations in the U.K., Boston, Washington D.C., Philadelphia, Denver, and Atlanta. You can check them out and plan your visit here.

Are you racing to experience the F1 Arcade? Do you really think you could out-drive Lewis Hamilton? Let us know in the comments!

In the age of live-action remakes, Disney is at it again with a remake of the beloved sensation, Moana (2016)... A mere 10 years after the initial release, mind you. While the footage is heavy on the CGI, it effectively captures the beauty of the original animations and features beloved characters like Hei Hei. But […]

It's the holiday season, and if you're looking for that special something for a Star Wars-loving spouse or child, then nothing says you have too much money than buying Boba Fett's (Jeremy Bulloch) Hero Screen EE-3 Carbine Rifle from The Empire Strikes Back. It's estimated to go for more than $460,000.  That said, this would […]
