People keep asking if I'm back, and I haven't really had an answer, but yeah, I'm thinking I'm back.
Back in March 2025, we went to the John Wick Experience at Area 15 in Las Vegas, and it was immersive, mysterious, and at times, magical. Guests enter the iconic Continental hotel (the Las Vegas branch), and every detail from top to bottom pulls you into Chad Stahelski's blood-soaked world of assassins for hire. The experience delivers a high-adrenaline journey through Las Vegas beyond the Continental and into the actual world of John Wick. The space has been designed for events and parties from day one. For the Halloween season, the John Wick Experience is hosting its first themed evening, an exclusively built evening all around driving money for a good cause while partying like assassins.

The property produced one unforgettable night where the Las Vegas Continental hosted its first Masquerade event, simply titled The Masquerade. Attendees were encouraged to abide by the black tie dress code, along with masks of their own. The hotel staff was also sure to hide their identities, which amplified the atmosphere of intrigue. This is the first event-themed night for the immersive powerhouse, and it was for a good cause. The Masquerade was done in partnership with The Nevada Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, or The Nevada SPCA for short. Quite fitting for those in the loop on John Wick's lore.
To raise money for The Nevada SPCA, The Masquerade held a silent auction with items like tickets for The Craft'd, a musical theater parody of The Craft, a hockey stick signed by the Golden Knights, and, of course, tickets to the Blue Man Group. The biggest money item was a guitar signed by the Bee Gees, which was auctioned for $550.

I hadn't gone back to the John Wick Experience since its opening in March 2025 (which I covered here). That trip was so early in production that my visit in October 2025 was noticeably different. While I can't spoil the fun of the run of show, there were elements that were much more immersive. One of the more interactive elements had more weaponry options, and some of the dialogue was a bit cheekier. There are some noticeable adjustments to the atmosphere which only made the thrills more immersive.
There is a character interaction early on that I didn't get to participate in during my first run-through, but with this one, the character made an effort to include everyone in our group. Much like the expensive cognac behind the hotel bar, the experience is getting smoother with age. With the event being the first themed night, there were some nods to the masks being worn, but the masquerade of it all didn't affect the story of the experience.

The Masquerade itself as an event was hypnotising. Everyone was required to wear a mask- no exceptions. While some attendees played it looser than others when it comes to black-tie formal, the masks did bring everyone up to a sexy, mysterious level. I will say, the common masks of the night were a loose black lacy slip of fabric or a bunny. There were easily a handful of bunnies hopping around the after-party club, the end of the experience bar.
Guests who attended The Masquerade for both the experience and the party received two drink tokens (good for mocktails as well) and a collectible gold coin. I can see superfans going just for more in-world Continental currency. A live DJ was spinning John Wick-inspired club beats to deliver the perfect, alluring, anonymous assassin atmosphere to all.
The staff were also all in masks all night, many of which either had a coin insignia or the logo of The Continental Hotel itself. The bar itself is already one of the spicier spots to take shots in the city, and adding a layer of mystery doesn't help it beat the allegations. Outside of the perfect vibes, certain guests had a secret identity- magicians. Roaming magicians (like Patton Guillen) went through the bar and club at The Continental, creating curated curiosities for guests. Our experience began with a friendly conversation and ended with a mind-reading masterpiece that drove my date into shock.

For their first venture into a themed night, the John Wick Experience delivered. The night was true to form of what you can expect for John Wick, but with clever easter eggs and atmospheric absorption that makes you forget you're in the middle of the desert, where all the grocery stores have slot machines. I didn't expect to be surprised, but I pleasantly was. I thought I knew every turn that was coming, but the updates and added elements were impressive and exciting to discover.
And all in all, if I can party in a way that helps a foundation save dogs, it's a good day.
Tickets for The Masquerade at John Wick Experience were $39.99 for access to the bar with one drink token or $79.99 for access to the experience and bar, two drink tokens, and the collectible gold coin.
