Are you a fan of horror games? Well in this episode we talk with a few horror enthusiasts and discuss why they hate themselves and or masochists. Luis returns to the show and special guest Billie Jean from the Video Nasty Presents Instagram account.

Dan’s take :

I have been a fan of horror games ever since the first time I played Resident Evil 2 on the PS1. The draw was the gore as I was obsessed with gore as a teenager, the hook was the puzzles. I absolutely love solving the puzzles in horror games.  The added puzzle many survival horror games have comes in the form of resource management! 

It’s fun seeing people who are not dead inside like myself play horror games. I.E. Pagan playing Dead Space or playing Back 4 Blood with me in our Game Time video on our YouTube.

Pagan’s take :

Ok listen, we all know Horror games are a big NOPE for me, but this was certainly an interesting conversation! It’s fun to hear why everyone is such a big fan of horror games; and to discover that a lot of the time, although very scary, these games have some amazing storylines which fuel the need to go on courageously! As I’m currently playing through Dead Space at the moment, I can definitively say that I am still absolutely terrified of these games; but after our discussion, I am intrigued to learn more about horror games and maybe even… gulp… play some more… AHHHH!!!!
